Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (Roanoke Rapids, NC)

dFender Physical Therapy, LLC is a private, therapist owned outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
practice that specializes in advanced manual therapy techniques and integrative dry needling
techniques. Our hands-on, comprehensive holistic approach to therapy continues to provide our

We are looking for an enthusiastic Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing practice in
Roanoke Rapids, NC. This is an excellent career opportunity for any physical therapist assistant seeking

Schedule: 37 hours a week; no weekend, no holidays.
Education: Graduate of an accredited (APTA) Physical Therapy program and currently licensed (or
eligible) in the state of North Carolina.
Experience: Prior experience in outpatient Physical Therapy is preferred, however, newly licensed
Physical Therapist Assistant & new graduates will be considered.
Qualifications:
· Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of North Carolina
· Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications
· Excellent documentation and communication skills
· Must be able to work independently
· Must be comfortable working in an outpatient setting
· Must pass required background checks
· Current CPR Certification
Responsibilities:
Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for patient treatment and implementation of appropriate
POC for patients with multiple diagnosis. Familiar with basic modalities typical to the outpatient
orthopedic setting. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Prefer someone with strong
manual skills, but not required. A self-starter and autonomous practitioner who is a team player and
demonstrates professionalism.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
